Whipped Cream Charger Abuse

Misuse Of Cream Chargers

Cream charger cartridges contain a gas called Nitrous Oxide (N2O) that can be abused just like any other drugs. If the product is not being used for the purpose it is designed it is considered to be misused. The risks of such abuse include narcosis, asphyxiation and potentially death.

We require that customers purchasing large numbers of cream chargers confirm they are aware of this problem and will make every effort to prevent our products from being misused.

It is a legal offense to sell cream whipping chargers for the purpose of inhalation and a punishable offense to sell cream chargers to anyone under 18 by up to 6 months jail or a large fine.

If we suspect that you intend to misuse the cream chargers or try to sell them to others for abuse we will refuse to sell any equipment to you. We will refuse to do business with you in the future and your account will be registered and flagged in our database so that you cannot purchase from us again.

We securely store details of all cases of misuse. If the police formally request information about a particular sale we will disclose it. We have strict procedures in place to make sure each request is specific to a particular case with a proper witness statement request and not a general request.

Please be aware of these requirements if you want to make a purchase:

  • You must be over 18 to purchase from our website

  • Keep cream chargers out of reach of children

  • We require confirmation that you are over 18 when you create an account or make a purchase

  • You may need to provide additional information if we deem it necessary

If you have any queries about these issues or wish for us to collect some cream chargers that you believe are being abused please contact us.

Potential Risks Of Nitrous Oxide Abuse

Oxygen Deprivation

Anesthetics are fast becoming a popular method of experiencing a ‘high’. Although nitrous oxide does not have the same strength of other anesthetics its use in this manner has been increasing.

It’s possible that abusers assume the fact of its relative weakness compared to other analgesics and pharmaceuticals also signify a lesser risk factor, but that is not the case. It is an entirely incorrect correlation.

Brain Damage For Inhaling NO2

Brain damage is a serious side effect that can be suffered as a result of using nitrous oxide in this way because, if it is not mixed with at least twenty percent oxygen in a controlled manner when it is inhaled, the reduction of the oxygen content in the blood can trigger hypoxia—a serious medical condition. Brain damage following as a result of this action is irreversible. It only requires one instance of hypoxia for permanent brain damage to ensue.

Asphyxiation Causing Death

Quite a large number of fatalities solely due to the lack of enough oxygen have occurred as a result of nitrous abuse. Some users, wishing to ensure they are breathing in pure nitro, do not realize the extreme risk of chasing a bigger high. Without enough oxygen, the human body will not survive for a long length of time and it is also possible that, due to low-oxygen, they may pass out with the bag still placed over the user’s heads.

Nervous System Damage

Recent research confirms that, when people engage in prolonged or excessive use, then it could have devastating effects on the body subjected over a period of time. The body’s bone marrow may show signs of deterioration, and it has been known to inflict severe damage to the nervous system. Another extreme danger when engaging in the practice of breathing it straight out of pressurised tanks is that the gas flow is extremely cold, which can result in the freezing or damaging the vocal cords or asphyxiating the user.
