N02 Cream Chargers & Whippers Safety Guidelines

Gas Cartridge Safety Guidelines

Before using any of the gas cartridges you must first read the manufacturer’s instructions of the device you are using them with. For cream whippers no more than 1 charger should be released in a 1/4L or 1/2 litre whipper and no more than 2 chargers for a 1-litre whipper. An explosion could occur from excessive pressure if you use more than stated.

Important Safety Information

The chargers contain Nitrous Oxide or Carbon Dioxide under great pressure. Attempt to pierce the sealing cap without the correct equipment could result in:

  • Explosion injury and serious freeze burns

  • Do not incinerate or expose chargers to the sun or heat

  • Do not dispose of full chargers

  • Keep out of reach of children

  • Pressurised gas cartridges must not go on a plane

Whipper Safety Guidelines

Cream whippers work by using small chargers filled with compressed nitrous oxide and force it through a nozzle at the top of the whipper. The nitrous oxide chargers are small metal cartridges that need to be slipped into the sleeve of the canister. There are a few important safety guidelines you should follow to avoid any potential injury.

  • Follow the safety regulations on the charger packaging

  • Keep chargers away from direct sunlight and temperatures over 50 °C/120 °F

  • Store product components and chargers out of the reach of children

  • Only operate the device when it’s filled

  • Only use the device for the purposes specified in this instruction manual

  • Never attach the headpiece so that it is crooked

  • Never store a filled bottle in the freezer or deep freeze compartment

  • The device is a pressurized bottle. If it is dropped or damaged, it should not be used again because it poses a risk of injury

  • Please read the device instructions carefully to avoid operating errors and keep a copy on hand
